After graduating from university, Mr. Itō returned to his hometown and launched the new, limited-distribution sake brand “Yamawa.” Rather than straying from the time-honored brewing methods established by the Nambu tōji of the venerable brand “Washiga Kuni,” which has preserved tradition since its inception, Yamawa remains steadfastly committed to crafting simple, high-quality sake, unburdened by fleeting trends.

Born from the ethos of “Simple is best,” the new brand, with its refined aroma and unadulterated clarity, has not only bolstered its local popularity but has also become a favored label beyond the prefecture.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Wrong Addresses or No Recipients
Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
