Bastien Wolber

Burgundy's young rising star! 

Originally from Germany, Bastien Wolber found himself learning about wines in Burgundy after trying a wine by Ganevat. What was meant to be a full circle moment - he was meant to do harvest at Ganevat - led him to start Laisse Tomber. He sustained a skateboarding accident and injured his arm during harvest. While recovering he set about to purchase fruit from trusted friends in wildly disparate regions like Savoie, Baden and Alsace. Laisse Tomber means drop it, reflecting his humour and attitude to take on the world with his take on Burgundy wines.

He now works full time for Burgundy legend  Jean-Yves Bizot, and has acquired a small plot of Pinot Noir he is now farming himself. Fresh and energetic, his wines are the ones you want to start your night with. As always, quantities of his wines remain super limited and allocated.
