Good as Gold is a 50/50 blend of barrel aged Gold and fresh Gold that has just completed primary fermentation. Both the young and aged components are wholly fermented by a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from native flowers from NSW. Bright citrus and limey Motueka hop notes on the nose balance with structure and length from aged, oakier barrels.

The most mature barrels from Wildflower’s cellar which would benefit from the youth and aroma of a younger fermentation is blended in equal parts, bottled and allowed to naturally condition and carbonate for an additional 3 months minimum before release.

Tasting Notes: Really lovely citrus aromas backed up with dark spice and ripe fruit on the nose. The palate is noticeably unified creating a singular expression from start to finish. Bright, juicy and generous, a venerable blend of this semi-flagship.
About the Producer

Wildflower was co-founded in 2016 by brothers-in-law Topher Boehm and Chris Allen.

Made a little differently, their beers have been fermented with a diversity of yeasts and bacteria collected from flowers native to NSW... hence the name. Their practice has developed over time and so has their relationships with local regenerative growers of grain, hops and fruit, who they celebrate their agriculturally focused fermented ales with.

Doorstep Delivery

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
