An extraordinarily elegant Nebbiolo made from 50-year-old vines, captivating with its Burgundian finesse and Piedmontese power. Small plot with 50-year-old vines on heavy clay over blue marl; two-month maceration, two years of aging in large barrels, unfiltered and unfined.

It is vinified naturally with a long maceration and aged for two years in large oak barrels. Silky, elegant, and juicy with a powerful freshness; dried cherry, wild strawberry, light minerality, fine and tight tannins, bright and well-integrated acidity
About the Producer

One of the most sought after names in Barbaresco, Olek Bondonio is not your typical Italian winemaker. He loves surfing, snowboarding and has a penchant bordering on the obsessive for Vegemite.

He grew up in his family's farmhouse La Berchialla. It sits amongst Barbaresco's most famous names such as Gaja and the Barbaresco producers, to whom Olek sold his grapes before he started making his own wine in 2005.

Olek works organically with a real hands on approach, whilst in the cellar he exhibits a patience beyond his years. His wines are precise, pure and deep with a character inspired by old school expressions of Piedmont’s local grapes.

Standard Delivery
Complimentary standard delivery on orders $100+ within 3 working days. For this option, we are unable to guarantee chilled delivery.

Next Day Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $150+, or $25 flat fee. Orders are delivered from 12pm - 8pm. Next day delivery cut off is at 12pm. Orders must be placed by 12pm to be delivered the following day. Orders placed after 12pm will be delivered the day after. No 'next day' delivery on Sundays; only 1-hour deliveries apply. 'Next day' orders placed after Friday 12pm will be fulfilled on Monday.

There will be no next-day deliveries on Sundays, public holidays or days that the store is closed, unless otherwise announced online.

1-Hour Delivery
Complimentary delivery on orders $300+, or $35 flat fee. Orders are delivered between 12pm - 4pm. Place order by 3pm latest to receive within the hour. Orders placed after 3pm cut off will be delivered the following day. Please expect delays with unfavourable weather conditions.

Please ensure that delivery addresses, particularly for gifts, are entered correctly otherwise additional costs may be incurred.
