Brewed on a refined malt base laced with Loral hops and aged 20 months in ex-Chardonnay barrels, this burgundy-coloured barrel-aged ale presents dark fruit aromas and flavours of tart black cherry and plum. Rich, complex and reminiscent of a well-aged red wine. This is Akasha's homage to the centuries-old tradition of Belgian brewing.
