Despite having trained in Bordeaux and Burgundy, Alice Bouvot knew that when it came to make her own wines, the Jura would be the place. She started her adventure in 2004 and bought a small cellar in the village of Arbois with just 2 hectares.

Alice now farms 5 hectares of Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. Wild grasses, weeds, insects, and animals all have a place in the vines creating a true ecosystem that gives a deeper meaning to each glass of her wine.

Since 2009, all L'Octavin wines are “pur jus”, with no additives at all.
