A ruby-red perky little number made with two different varieties of Pineau d'Aunis. 

Featherweight on the palate with bright, small red fruits and just a hint of those cracked white peppercorn notes from this varietal.
About the Producer

Laurent Saillard spent a lot of time in New York earlier in his life, managing at Balthazar and starting Ice, one of the first natural wine bars in New York, Ici.

Eventually he decided to try his hand at producing the wines he had fallen in love with and moved to the Loire Valley working with other producers like Noella Morantin, making his own wines on the side and eventually purchasing half of the historic and beautiful Clos Roche Blanche.

Obsessive observation and constant care are his highest priorities in the vineyard, where everything is done by hand & without the use of chemical sprays. Laurent's wines are fine, precise and utterly delicious.
