100% Chardonnay from the small Montgueux vineyard in the Côte des Bar, on a limestone ridge located around 10km west of Troyes. Here Emmaneul Lassaigne seeks to produce expressive whites thanks to vinification partially in barrels, using low pressure during foaming and disgorging on the fly without icing, without adding sulfites or dosage. Less chiseled and taut than the chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs, these champagnes assert themselves in a more exotic, tasty and delicate profile.
