100% Chardonnay. ‘L'Échappée Belle’ comes from clay-limestone soils, predominantly premier cru, in the Cote des Blancs region of Champagne. Wine ages on its lees for 7 months before bottling, followed by 36 months in bottle. Low dosage, intricate, and an absolute pleasure to drink.
About the Producer

Étienne Calsac is one of Champagne's rising stars. In 2010 at the age of 26, he became responsible for his family's domaine: 2.8 hectares of vineyards spread between Avize, Grauves and Bisseuil. His commitment to site specific Champagnes continues to intrigue.
